It’s a frilly season in fashion town and I mean literally, frills and ruffles are so huge this season.
One thing good about fashion is, it's keeps on changing and repeating itself. The ruffles this season are inspired from the 80s more floppier furls. They adapted themselves to become more modern and attractive. This 80s trend is my very favorite because whether they are framing the neck or coiling the hip or even spiraling along the bust, they build for a perfect look specially for an evening outfit.
Ruffles usually are very formal and seen mostly on evening gowns but this dress that I’m sporting today, is very casual yet frames the body perfectly for a dinner as well.
I have paired this dress with a distressed denim jacket, black leather boots and a cute little backpack. No summer look can be complete without a pair of sunglasses so I have added these simple aviators.
I haven’t accessorized much because I think ruffles always speak for itself and are an accessory on their own.
